Motorcyclist Dies in Late-Night San Antonio Crash
A 33-year-old man was killed Thursday night following a collision with a pickup truck, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Authorities say the crash happened around 10:25 p.m. near the intersection of Congress Avenue and South Flores Street in San Antonio. Glenn Cabatbat, a San Antonio resident, was reportedly waiting to make a left turn when a pickup truck also attempted a left turn in front of him, leading to a collision.
The pickup driver remained at the scene and provided assistance. Emergency responders arrived shortly after, but Cabatbat was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The tragic loss has left family, friends, and members of the community mourning. Authorities are reminding drivers to remain alert, particularly at intersections and during nighttime hours, as investigations into the fatal crash continue.
