Man Found Dead on Bus, Another Injured After Downtown Cincinnati Shooting

One man is dead and another hospitalized following a shooting early Saturday morning in Downtown Cincinnati, according to the Cincinnati Police Department. Authorities later identified the victim as 29-year-old Tobias Hood.

Officers responded around 1 a.m. to reports of gunfire near Third Street and Main Street. When they arrived, they discovered a man in his twenties deceased inside a bus commonly used to transport large groups to nightlife destinations.

Investigators also located a second victim nearby, who was transported to a hospital for treatment. Police have not released details regarding the extent of that person’s injuries.

In an update, officials announced the arrest of 28-year-old De’Angelo Robinson, who has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder.

The shooting occurred in a busy downtown entertainment area, raising concerns about late-night violence. Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
