Dorchester County Deputies Investigate Deadly St. George Shooting
The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday morning in St. George.
Deputies were dispatched around 7:19 a.m. to the 100 block of Earl Drive following reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and immediately began administering life-saving measures. Despite their efforts, the victim died from their injuries at the scene.
Detectives with the agency’s Criminal Investigations Division are leading the case. Sheriff’s Office spokesman Steven Wright said investigators have been interviewing potential witnesses at the residence as they work to determine what led to the shooting.
Authorities confirmed that all involved parties have been identified, but no additional details have been released at this time.
The Dorchester County Coroner’s Office has not yet officially released the victim’s name. While the victim has been identified on social media as Fenxe, officials have not confirmed that information pending formal notification and verification.
The investigation remains active, and additional updates are expected as more details become available.
