Austin Woman Identified as Victim in Northeast Austin Fatal Crash
Authorities have identified 37-year-old Daisy Josephine Nuncio as the woman killed in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday morning in northeast Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department, the crash occurred shortly after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Loyola Lane and Sendero Hills Parkway. Officers responding to the scene pronounced Nuncio dead at the location.
The driver and passengers in the second vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police have not indicated whether any charges have been filed.
Officials say this is Austin’s 11th fatal crash of 2026, compared to five at the same point last year. The incident remains under investigation as authorities work to determine what led to the collision.
