An early-morning shooting on Easter Sunday outside a bar in Anderson has left one man dead and a woman injured, according to police.<\/p>\n
Authorities identified the victim as Montario D. Peoples, 34<\/strong>, who died from multiple gunshot wounds, as confirmed by Madison County Coroner Adam Matson.<\/p>\n Officers were dispatched at approximately 2:43 a.m.<\/strong> to Bourbon Street Sports Bar & Grill, located in the 800 block of East 53rd Street, following reports of a shooting involving individuals inside a vehicle.<\/p>\n Upon arrival, police found Peoples inside the vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.<\/p>\n A woman who was also inside the vehicle sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police said her injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
