Three victims have now been identified following a deadly shooting at a block party in Ocilla, Georgia, that left one person dead and others injured.<\/p>\n
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed it is assisting the Ocilla Police Department in the investigation. The shooting occurred near the intersection of East 10th Street and North McKinley Street.<\/p>\n
Authorities said several people were found with gunshot wounds at the scene and were taken to nearby hospitals. One of the victims, 19-year-old Marquavius Westbrook<\/strong>, died from his injuries.<\/p>\n Family members say Westbrook was simply attending the party to have a good time before the situation turned tragic.<\/p>\n Among those injured is 31-year-old Hilary Curtis<\/strong>, who was shot on her birthday. According to her father, she underwent surgery and is now recovering, with expectations of a full recovery.<\/p>\n A third victim, 20-year-old Damonee Crumedy<\/strong>, was also injured in the shooting and remains in the hospital.<\/p>\n Officials say they are still working to determine if there were any additional victims.<\/p>\n Ocilla Mayor Melvin D.
