A 31-year-old woman was killed Thursday morning in a multi-vehicle crash in Pikesville, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Police said officers responded around 7:30 a.m. on February 12 to the area of Old Court Road and Harden Lane for reports of a serious collision.

Investigators determined that a 2016 Nissan Rogue was traveling westbound on Old Court Road when it crossed into the opposing lane and collided with a 2018 Audi Q5 traveling eastbound.

Authorities identified the driver of the Nissan as Sydney Jones, 31, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

A juvenile passenger in the Nissan was transported to a nearby hospital. Officials did not release details regarding the extent of the juvenile’s injuries.

The driver of the Audi was also taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Baltimore County Police Department’s Crash Team is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
