Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing of 22-Year-Old Woman in Lexington County
A fatal stabbing in Lexington County is under investigation after a 22-year-old woman died following an early morning incident on Friday.
According to the Lexington County Coroner’s Office, Gabrielle Marie Cribb was found with injuries at a residence on the 100 block of Marshall Road in the Gaston area around 3:20 a.m. on May 1, 2026. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
An autopsy has been scheduled at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston as authorities work to determine further details.
At this time, no suspect information has been released. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and the Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
