Former Australian Model Annabelle Price Found Dead in Sydney Apartment

Former Australian model and socialite Annabelle Price has been found dead in her apartment in Sydney, prompting an outpouring of reactions from those who knew her.

According to police, officers were called to a unit on Wride Street in Sydney’s eastern suburbs at approximately 2:40 p.m. on Sunday after concerns were raised for her welfare.

The New South Wales Police Force confirmed that a woman in her 30s was found deceased at the scene. Authorities established a crime scene but stated that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

Price, 34, was widely known within Sydney’s social circles and had built a reputation as a model and public figure. She is survived by her two children, whom she shared with her former husband, Freddie Blencke, a private wealth adviser.

Past Legal Matters

The relationship between Price and Blencke had previously been the subject of legal proceedings. In 2022, Blencke was convicted of assault following an incident at their Vaucluse home. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and was also issued a 12-month apprehended violence order, preventing contact with Price.

He was acquitted of other related charges, including additional assault allegations and breaches of the order.

Public Life and Personal Challenges

Price had also drawn media attention in 2022 following an incident involving expensive sunglasses on a luxury yacht, with reports at the time describing her behavior as out of character.

In 2023, she became engaged to financier Thomas Fennell and later moved into an apartment in Rose Bay with her children. However, the relationship had ended prior to her death.

Investigation Ongoing

While police have ruled out suspicious circumstances, authorities are continuing standard procedures as part of the investigation.

Further details regarding the cause of death have not yet been released.
