A devastating shooting in Braddock early Friday morning has left one woman dead and two others seriously wounded.
Police say they received a 911 call around 2:02 a.m. reporting gunfire along the 800 block of Braddock Avenue, near Club Elegance. When officers arrived, they discovered an adult woman who had been fatally shot at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Quinn Venay.
Two additional women were also struck by gunfire and transported to nearby hospitals, where they remain in critical condition.
Investigators believe a small group of people had gathered outside the club when someone opened fire from across the street before fleeing the area. No suspects have been taken into custody at this time.
Allegheny County homicide detectives are actively investigating the case and working to piece together what led to the violence.
