22-Year-Old Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Clinton Highway Identified
A tragic motorcycle crash in Knoxville has claimed the life of a 22-year-old man Saturday morning.
According to the Knoxville Police Department, officers were dispatched around 8:25 a.m. on April 18 to a collision involving a motorcycle and a car at the intersection of Clinton Highway and Treemont Drive.
The motorcyclist suffered severe head injuries and was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities initially withheld his identity, but he has since been identified as Donald Jones.
The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene, and no further details have been released at this time. Investigators with KPD’s crash reconstruction team are actively working to determine what led to the collision.
