16-Year-Old Tianah Robinson Killed in Shooting During 404 Day Gatherings at Piedmont Park

A 16-year-old girl has died following a shooting that took place Saturday night during gatherings linked to 404 Day celebrations in Atlanta.

Authorities identified the victim as Tianah Robinson, who was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering a gunshot wound.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers were dispatched to Piedmont Park shortly after 9:00 p.m. following reports of gunfire.

When officers arrived, they initially located a 15-year-old girl who had been shot in the shoulder. She was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she is currently listed in stable condition.

While securing the scene and searching the area, officers discovered a second victim, later identified as Tianah Robinson. Despite life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives have since taken over the investigation and are working to determine what led to the shooting.

Preliminary information indicates that the incident was not connected to an officially permitted 404 Day event, which had taken place on the opposite side of the park and ended earlier in the evening. Investigators believe the shooting may have occurred during an unpermitted gathering near the far west end of the park.

At this time, authorities have not identified any suspects or made any arrests. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and it is not known whether the victims were specifically targeted.

Police are urging anyone who was in the area or who may have captured photos or videos of the incident to come forward with information.

The investigation remains ongoing, and more details are expected to be released as they become available.
