A woman has died following an early morning shooting in Denver, according to authorities.
The victim, identified as Leah Hines, was involved in the incident around 3:42 a.m. Friday near Forest Street and East Thrill Place. Police say Hines managed to transport herself to a nearby hospital after being shot but was later pronounced dead.
The Denver Police Department has confirmed the case is being treated as a homicide.
