A shooting in Breaux Bridge early Thursday morning has left one person dead and two others injured, according to authorities.
Officials say the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Valsin Street. When officers arrived, they found multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim who died has been identified as 19-year-old Daren Borel. Two other individuals were also injured in the shooting, though the extent of their conditions has not been released.
