A fatal shooting at a west Toledo apartment complex is under investigation after a man died from his injuries Wednesday morning.
According to police, officers responded just before 6:30 a.m. to the 5700 block of Talmadge Road following reports of gunfire.
When they arrived, officers found 27-year-old Shemar Porter in the parking lot suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, no suspects have been identified, and investigators have not released details about what may have led to the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to gather more information.
