Rapper Offset Reportedly Shot Outside Florida Casino
Atlanta-based rapper Offset was reportedly shot Monday evening near a casino in Hollywood, Florida.
According to TMZ, the incident happened near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
A spokesperson for the rapper said he is doing fine but remains in the hospital following the shooting.
Authorities have not yet released detailed information about what led to the incident. Reports indicate that two people have been taken into custody, but it is still unclear if any arrests have officially been made.
Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, rose to fame as a member of the rap group Migos alongside Quavo and Takeoff. The group gained global recognition with hit songs like Versace and multiple chart-topping albums.
The news comes as Offset continues to navigate life and his career following the tragic death of Takeoff in 2022.
